hello everyone, okay, i know it's sometime since i last blogged. So i'm guessing that no one's gonna read this anyway *why even bother writing?!*

The holidays have been so-so for me...caught up with some old pals and enjoyed my time.

Other than that, it's either work or cycle or sleep....hmmm that's pretty much how my life's been and i seem to enjoy it somehow or rather. Not really much stress for now....But school's gonna reopen in a weeks time and that means study study study and travel travel travel which amounts up to stress stress stress.... =(

Okay so well, if you read this, do tag so i know that i've still some readers and it's worth updating my blog okay?!

First attempt at commiting suicide. - Almost succeeded

Saturday.

Met my colleagues in the morning for a mini gathering. Played basketball at tiong bahru CC till about 1 plus, played with some guys there who were FREAKING fit, like, seriously, BIG BODIES! . It was fun to catch up with them.
Had lunch at the market near by and rushed back home to get my bike, went over to gary's palce and had swimming session, almost died. Everytime i tried to kick, my calf would cramp and it happened A LOT of times. Got out, showered then went for dinner at 401. Went down to punggol cc to plat ball with the team, ended up killing myself.

Woke up this morning with aching legs. Studied for the prac tmr. i think i'm gonna flung it.

Stressed, worn out.

went to my aunt's place today, good thing my cousin took stats and chem and bio when she was in JC, helped me out a bit, not really sure if it was fruitful but i hope it was. Enjoyed dinner. Came home and nua the whole night away watching Hairy Pottie...

OKAY!! it's been a VERY VERY VERY VERY long time since i last blogged.
Exams were sorta F***ed up i guess got 1A and triple Bs totally screwed.
Lessons are as tiring as usual and i really hate the projects that are just dumped on us. URGHH!! Well, I've been spending A LOT of time traveling to and fro school in a stupid uncomfortable SBS/Shuttle bus. How i wish i could ride or even drive to school. =/. But since i can't fulfill my wishes just yet, I'll be needing a lot a lot of new songs! cos I'm getting bored of the tunes in my MP3.....=(

Bad mannerism

The typical Singaporean "Auntie" attitude of forgetting etiquette when wanting to benefit oneself. Rushing to get free or discounted items, rushing to be the first in the queue, rushing to the free seat in the MRT,bus or hawker centre. Making "full use" of what they paid for ( i paid 20cents to enter the toilet, take more toilet paper, flush more often).
All these acts DISGUST me to the utmost maximum, they show how low one would stoop just for these small gains.

Sustained Injuries; However, A Great Sense Of Achievement

Perspiration trickles down our faces as we anticipate the oncoming ball, we're all panting and tired after doing the first 80 reps. Here goes another 80 cos we didn't do it properly. The training is tiring, but it's just at the lowest level. Our(or at least my) fitness level isn't there yet.
We finally finished what seemed like a thousand reps and immediately, it's tug jumps and V-Mans.

My knee cap feels weird and a little pain at the top, think it's my old injury acting up, i'm worried, but i dare not stop training for fear of being looked down upon. Finally, i get to play. I score just one ball, but i'm contented.

Tried jumping after everything ended and FINALLY, the elusive back board is finally mine to touch. The feeling of elation fills me as i go for a second jump. Only after 2 little trainings, my vertical has increased, i'm happy about it. I'm gonna train harder.

You can't please everyone, don't even try ; Adapt

Well, i guess i'm sort of assimilating into poly life. The headaches are still there, but i'm sort of getting used to them. The lecture speeds are forever fast paced and i guess i can't slow the whole class down due to my low level of intellect. Nevertheless i'm trying my best to absorb everything the lects are saying and trying to process every single thing in my little tiny brain.

It's like studying for my O levels everyday (if i hadn't mentioned it before) and i guess it's somehow taking a toll on my mental health.
There're so many personalities that i've to handle appropriatly and also holding back myself, this really does develop my self-control.

I realised that the world isn't what it seems from my Secondary-School-perspective and that there're so many things out there in the world you've got to face and overcome yourself, i somehow lost my sense of security as compared to being in my comfort zone during my Secondary School days. There're so many things out there waiting for just the right moment to grab you and bring you into the abbyss of no return. Just one moment of folly and you're done for, you'll have ruined your whole life.

Seriously, can i just take a break from this tiring life and revert back to my own little space where everything is warm and cosy, without the monsters hiding around??

Poly life isn't as easy as it seems. Independence is a must and self discipline is a need.

The lecturers don't give a hoot if you listen or not and will ask you to leave as you please anytime you feel like it. It's a total different life as compared to secondary school where the teachers chase you for your homework and get notes distributed to you during lesson time. Teachers will even re-explaine things for you in detail if you don't understand. In poly, you've gotta source out your own notes and search if the lecturers have uploaded any online and if you don't understand anything, it's your responsibility to find out more through your own means.

The school is damn big and moving from lects to tutorials are a hassle. We used to complain(in secondary school) about going to the D&T room on the first floor cos we were on the fourth, but now, just exiting the building to go to another lect or tutorial takes as much effort. True, this independence will mature us, but somehow, i'm not used to it, guess i'm still a child.

I somehow miss how teachers will handle everything for you and you'll be bossed around by them, cos they're really concern about you. It's literally, every man for himself in poly.

We were already bombarded by deadlines for projects and Lord knows what on the very first day when the lects haven't even started. They'll tell you where to get the lesson materials, but they won't tell you what are they and when they'll be released.

Today was fruitful, today was enjoyable.

Met Benson and Jazer in the morning and played ball, learnt some stuff from Jazer and he asked me to try out my 3pt shot(which i had zero confidence in cos i had never once shot it seriously.) Turned out rather good for the first time, i downed 4 consecutive shots =D. And i'm really sorry about sending my elbow to your face Benson, i swear it wasn't on purpose =s

Went to have frog porridge at S11 food court and i must say, it was DEEEEEEEEEELICIOUS!!

Met baby soon after that and caught Shinjuku Incident. I gotta say, it was quite gory and the fighting scenes were damn real. Wasn't really used to the fighting style where Jacky wasn't making the audience laugh. Overall, i would say it was only an average show.

Prawning Pawning.

WOOOO!!! Prawning is FUNNNNN!!! (when you catch a lot of prawns)
Ernest suddenly asked me out to go prawning with Bert and Weida. But in the end, pang sehed us when he went to sleep. _l_

Ended up with only Bert and me prawning, Weida and Josh and his bro came much later about 3++. Our catch was considered rather...reasonable is guess?! We caught a total of 16(including one badass big prawn) prawns. After barbecuing everything, it was about 4.30am. Went to Macs to slack.

chalet was fun! =D Although i didn't get to sleep much. =/ But still, so happy that i could catch up with all my friends and enjoy my time there. The BBQ had goooooooood and niceeeeeeeeee food that i haven't had for a very very very long time, too bad we didn't cook the otahs. =(

But dammit, after the chalet, i formed a bad habit of liking ice cold beers every time i've nothing to do, or when the weather gets warm. =S

Met the gang for homecoming day today, it was as usual messy, warm and sticky.

IRRITANT!

Dang, the weather these few days have been getting warmer and warmer, the scorching sun is not helping me with my temper and I've become very easily irritable, most probably due to the fact that I've been getting more and more headaches =( . Lord please help me keep my temper in check and give me patience to deal with any situation that comes my way.

Was suppose to go to DBL O last night for Jazer's birthday party but was refused entry, 21 is the golden number. =(

The training was shiok, been a long time since i exerted myself, but it was too mentally taxing, imagine wanting to get the ball in cos all the other players do so and you'll be letting the whole team down, or you're the cause of punishment just because of your incompetence.

Took a fall during saturday's bball "training" serious bruise to my left knee, hope nothing's wrong. =s The cuts are no matter. FUCK YOU ASSHOLE!

Got sent home at 6 yesterday cos the company plans to cut costs. Went roaming around with Azfar and Bernard to get some stuff, then back home.

Today was greattttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.........Went to Benson's ex school to play bball there with his friends and has matches with his juniors. I got a little burnt but that's the way uh huh uh huh i like it....found a shooting form that i think i'm going to stick to, all thanks to pete.

It's been a long time since i had company like that to bball with and it was, if i'm not mistaken, the first time i could bball with no real stress. I'M LOVIN' IT! Hope that there're many more of these days to come. Cos' that's the way balling should be, ENJOYABLE! =DDDD

After everything ended, showered and went down to AMK central and had gooooood food. It was $12 well spent i must say!! =D

Heard that the laptop is gonna set me back nearly 2k+++ gotta earn as much money as i can now so i can go shop for clothes and get my laptop!! I WANT MONEY!!! $.$ Anyone willing to donate to my laptop fund?! =DD

It's been a long time since i last balled, went down to SK to ball today, met 2 guys there who were just so hiliarious. Had fun with them even thought we lost. LOL!

Fun fun fun

Working with the people has been fun, although it's not very fun when Josh sneaks up behind you and pinches your nips...We made a new game and Benson is the King, followed by me, then Jin Wen and it's fun and you can work out at the same time =DD

Alot of stupid,crazy, funny things happen at work and this group of people are just so enjoyable to work with...=D

These past few weeks have been busy weeks for me, i'm either working or out visiting. No time for sports, the belly's coming out =(( got a super fatty layer or safety float around my waist now and i plan to get rid of it....=DD But only time will tell how fat i'll become.

Down with flu, permanantly....Not enjoying work as much as i did previously but nevertheless, think of the bigger picture...Gotta work for the dough...

Had this super major out-of-the-world headache that came down on me suddenly during work. Didn't have the mood to work at all. Sat in the toliet for 5mins and it started to get better, but i was still pale. The staff there were rather friendly towards me, but there're still soooo many others that i haven't seen and let just say i hope they'll be a friendly lot. =s (i really do loath back stabbers)

My daily expenditures have went up, it's currently $3 on transport and about $10 on food EVERYDAY!! ARGHHH....

Drowsy boys...

An auntie swoops like an eagle that has spotted it's prey, she makes a beeline for the free seat in the MRT carriage, not bothering what others think about her. She is clad in gold jewellery and wields a Gucci handbag on her right arm. It's a Saturday and everyone seems to be rushing to town to get clothes for the new year.

AX is having a store wide discount and the bengs are all rushing in to get cheap, branded but horrible looking clothes. Some of them really do make the value of the brand depreciate cos their sense of fashion is not to be used on this planet.

We walk to and fro Wisma and Taka and the three of us are exhausted due to the activities we were involved in earlier in the day. Bernie was at Sentosa looking at babes, Jovain had Dragonboat training and I was on medication. So there you have it, 3 grouchy boys on their way to manhood roaming the streets of Orchard.

We were finally contented with getting clothes at G2000 Blu....Jovian and I got everything i needed for the new year, bernie got a pair of Berms....

Being transferred to NUM Heeren...Goodbye my friends at Downtown east, I'll miss the dun and the friendship we had there. You'll never be forgotten...

On the other hand, lets hope that it'll be fun at Heeren. =D

Everyone(at least i think so) is anxious to know if they scored well and i think there'll be many experiencing insomnia due to anxiety. Well, i'm reallllll afraid that i'll screw my results up. I've ever thought of suicide, but then again, i don't think it'll be fair towards my loved ones...I reallly don't know what i'm gonna do when i recieve the result slip and the grades aren't what i desire them to be. Think i'll just go silent the rest of the day while others are celebrating. What we'll be receiving tomorrow will determine our future and our lives...If we got into the post tertiary institutions that we want to, the courses that'll determine our future careers, the peer influence that'll change our perspective towards life and everything else.

Let's just hope we get what we want. =D

Heard that results are coming out coming Monday. Abit scared, not really sure how i'll fair but i think i'll screw some subjects, especially my english. =( Hope that everyone gets their desired grades. =D

Work has been fine lately, Colin said he was gonna transfer me out to another outlet, not sure which one though.

Not everthing in life has been going my way, but yea, i'll hang in there and see what God dishes out to me. I just pray that i'll make the right decisions at the right time.

The price to pay, nothing comes free

Yes, although i get to sleep in and do whatever i want while others are going to school, but the bus fares are killing me. It's no longer 45cents for the whole of singapore but more like 45 dollars every fortnight. No more "beep beep" on the ez-link scanner.

I can't get cheap and good food anymore. No more long tables of 5Ns to enjoy my meals with, no more morning meet ups and morning smokes before school, no more "i'll wait until that stupid teacher that dismiss you so late then we'll go for lunch."

Indeed, graduation has it's perks, but i've left many things behind too..
Close friends, those that really are, you'll never be forgotten. The times that we spent laughing and calling each other names, talking bad about the teachers, looking at some chio teachers(you know who) or chio bus outside...I really enjoyed my secondary school life cos you were there. =)
